Library Composers
Barden Music is currently accepting submissions from composers
for an upcoming series of library CDs. All musical styles
will be considered. The primary focus for the initial release
will be aimed at commercial (TV and radio) advertising.
Composers will retain the copyright to their
works including writer's share but will forfeit the publisher's
share. Composers will be paid an up-front fee and will be
included on cue sheets. Composers must ensure that any composition
submitted is owned solely by them and any loops and other
digital samples utilized are legally licensed for royalty-free
use.
Composers must agree to edit or otherwise
structure all works to the requirements of the music library,
e.g. 30-second version, 60-second version, etc.
Please send all submissions on CD only. Email
submissions of MP3 or otherwise, or URLs will not be considered.
